Best Films in International Performing Arts and Movie Awards (IPAMA) 2015

(11/24/15) Finally the Best Film of International Performing Arts and Movie Awards 2015 is announced at the main stadium of Radio Republic of Indonesia (RRI). Best Film goes to Escape from Spain directed by Mercedes Gaspar and The Golds directed by Sue Healey from Australia.

Escape was chosen as Best Film because this film has a very unique story and it's cinematography comes close to perfection. Escape tells a story of a beautiful young woman named China who receives a bad news in the middle of her rising career. This news brings her down. Shes trying to runaway from reality. And she finally realised that running away is not the answer for her inner struggle.

The Golds who also won Best Film tells a message that old age is not a barrier to keep on dancing, become an artist, and make a masterpiece. This beautiful performance was performed by a group of old dancers in Canberra, Australia called The Gold (from Growing Old Disgracefully). To become a member of The Gold, one individual doesnt have to have a professional dancing background.

This festival works together with other International Festivals like Filmmakers Of The Year Film Festival (FOTY), International Film Festival for Documentary, Short and Comedy (IFFDSC) and International Students and Newcomer Movie Awards (ISENMA) and held by Peoples Creative Council, iHebat International Volunteers, The University of Indonesia, Care for Children Foundation, World Film Council, several High Schools and Radio Republic of Indonesia (RRI) as media partner and organiser.
