Among the nominations Robin Shou, a famous Hollywood actor, now turn filmmaker directed a film called Earthbound that tells the story of the tsunami that happened in Aceh, Indonesia in 2004. Eartbound is competing with Before Spring directed by Ahmed Atef from Egypt and also a documentary film, Waiting for John directed by Jessica Sherry. The winner will be announced on 30th of May 2016.
