Set in the year of 1987, this film tells the story of Bumblebee escapes from his planet to find a refugee and landed on Earth in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld) is looking for a car on her 18th birthday and find Bumblebee. Its only a matter of time until she founds out that the car that she owned is not just an ordinary car. While on the other planet the Autobots is trying to haunt all the Deceptions that is left.

The first live-action film of the Transformers not to be directed by Michael Bay instead this time he took the producers seat and gave the directors seat to Travis Knight who marked this film as his live-action film debut. Bumblebee is not your typical action movie! The Oscar Nominee; Hailee Steinfeld led the film as Charlie. Her acting is really powerful. Every scenes she owns like a dream and she basically acted with the CGI Bumblebee she really nailed it. Her character is very lovable as the girl who still cope up with the lost of her father. The actions is enough to make the portions and the execution is good, even though quite different than all the Transformers instalment directed by Bay whos famous for its actions. This film is nice in a dramatic way while the jokes is practically smart. This film could make the audience laugh in tears of happiness and in tears of sadness.

One thing to add the film is not all about Bumblebe it focuses on Steinfelds character Charlie. The focus is on her. Theres nothing wrong with it but perhaps the studio should have changed the film title to Charlie instead of Bumblebee.
