An American submarine captain teams up with the U.S Navy Seals to
rescue the Russian president, who has been kidnapped by a his
general. Directed by Donovan Marsh and stars Gerard Butler, Gary
Oldman, Common, Linda Cardellini. Based on the novel Firing Point by
Don Keith & George Wallace. The film is looking like an A list ilm
but surprisingly look like a B film. Quiet surprising looking at the
casts of this film. The story is quiet unique with that cliche
formula. The execution is somehow fine. One of the nice thing about
this film is how the tension is created from the beginning until the
end. How the film is sub plot is also another point. |
