President of RRI Leads Filmmakers to Declare #BraveIndonesia

01/18) After the blast and shootout that hit Jakarta recently,
President of Radio Republic Indonesia, Dra. Rosarita Niken
Widiastuti, Msi., leads the local and international filmmakers
and journalists to show support for Indonesia at the award
ceremony of international film festivals in Jakarta. In her
speech, she asks the supports from all participants for an
International Declaration of #INDONESIABERANI (#BRAVEINDONESIA).
The message is very clear that the world should not be afraid
and violence will not fix everything. Courage and love will do
it. The president of Radio Republic of Indonesia (RRI), Dra. Rosarita Niken Widiastuti, Msi., also added that RRI supports this festival because this festival has a very noble purpose, that is the dignity and the tribute to human rights. �The incident that happened on Jakarta this yesterday shows that human rights is very important, and human rights supposed not to be politicized for certain reason, � said Lily Wahid, the sister of President Gus Dur, who is also the senior advisor of People�s Creative Council. According to Dedeh Kurniasih, the secretary general of People's Creative Council, said that this festival is working together with other international film festivals, International Film and Photography Festival (IFPF), World Documentary Awards (WDA), and World Animation Awards (WAA), and being held by People�s Creative Council, iHebat International Volunteers, Russian Culture Centre, Care for Children Foundation, World Film Council, and Radio Republic of Indonesia as the media partner and organizer. Among the winning filmmakers that attended this event, are Reshel Shah (Black Sheep), Narumol Sriyanond Bartone dan Dr.Sittidet Mahasawangkul (Elephants in Motion: Tales of Thai Elephants' Life Transformation), Yulia Matsiy (Ukraine. Paralipomenon. A Chronicle of Omissions), Wang Yimin (Offspring of Mount Tianshan), Nonilo Cruz, Lucky Guillermo, Miguel Villa-Real (Unsurrendered 2 The Hunters ROTC Guerrillas), Clebio Viriato Ribeiro dan Caio Quinder� (The Legend of The Black Cat), Siavash Jamali (Once upon a time, there was a man), Yu Han (Flamingo), and more. |
